Overview
Our Youth Ministry serves young people between the ages of 13 and 30 through Blaze Youth Church and the Young Workers Fellowship.
The ministry exists to nurture, disciple and equip young people to live out godly and biblical principles while helping them grow in their relationship with Christ and become responsible members of the church and community.
Ministry Activities
Blaze Youth Church
Weekly youth services designed to provide a place where young people can worship, learn God’s Word, fellowship and grow in faith.
Young Workers Fellowship
A fellowship designed to support and disciple young people as they enter the workplace and navigate the responsibilities of adult life.
Transition Support
Helping young people transition from Children’s Ministry into Youth Ministry.
Leadership Training
Training youth leaders and ministry workers in line with the church’s discipleship program.
Camps & Retreats
Organizing camps and retreats that provide opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and personal development.
Youth Outreach
Creating opportunities for young people to reach others and share the Gospel.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Youth Ministry is responsible for:
- Nurturing and discipling young people in love.
- Equipping young people with biblical teaching and practical life application.
- Planning, leading and overseeing weekly Blaze Church services.
- Developing training for youth leaders and workers.
- Coordinating program materials, equipment, supplies and meeting spaces.
- Planning and running special youth projects and events.
- Organizing camps, retreats and outreach activities.
- Coordinating visitation and follow-up for youth, prospects and absentees.
