CHRISTIAN EDUCATION MINISTRY
To nurture, train, and equip church members and ministers with the Word of God for personal spiritual growth and maturity in Christ, while developing leadership skills for ministry in the Church and other spheres of influence.
1. DISCIPLESHIP
1.1 Discipleship Classes
These are elementary Christian training classes for converts who have completed the initiation class. The classes are designed to establish new believers in the foundations of the Christian faith and are crowned by an encounter with God.
1.2 Discipleship Communities
Discipleship Communities are hubs for discipleship consolidation and holistic leadership development. They are designed for those who have completed the Discipleship Classes.
Within these communities, disciples are equipped to:
- Learn to fellowship with one another.
- Develop a culture of reading and studying books.
- Save and invest together.
- Develop practical, real-life skills.
- Look out for and support one another socially.
2. LEADERSHIP SCHOOL (SOL)
The Leadership School is designed for all members who have completed the Discipleship Classes. The school focuses on developing effective, mature, and responsible leaders who can serve both within the Church and in other spheres of influence.
The Leadership School seeks to:
- Sharpen their vision.
- Build their character.
- Aid them in effective decision-making.
- Teach them endurance and perseverance.
- Equip them with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Teach them how to communicate effectively.
3. SCHOOL OF MINISTRY (SOM)
The School of Ministry prepares and equips ministers for the work of God. It develops ministers who understand the responsibility and character required for effective ministry.
The School of Ministry seeks to develop ministers whose ministry:
- Is centred on Christ and not on themselves.
- Is evidently filled with the Holy Spirit.
- Is grounded in sound and right doctrine.
- Is based on knowledge and understanding.
