Overview

The Marrieds & Family Ministry exists to nurture and strengthen relationships through biblical family values.

The ministry provides opportunities for married couples to grow together, receive encouragement, build healthy relationships and develop into excellent husbands, wives and parents.

Marrieds Accountability Groups

One of the ministry’s key activities is strengthening Marrieds Accountability groups.

These small groups meet on the last Saturday of every month for:

• Sharing the Word of God.
• Fellowship.
• Breaking bread together.
• Encouragement.
• Building stronger marriages.
• Becoming excellent husbands, wives and parents.

Wedding Support

The department supports wedding ceremonies held at the church through pre-marital counselling and assistance in conducting wedding services smoothly.

The original OHC material records support for up to 50 wedding ceremonies held at church.

Pre-Marital Counselling

The department provides counselling for couples preparing for marriage.

Pre-marital counselling resources and a structured pre-marital counselling package have also been developed to guide couples through relevant discussions and preparation.

Couples and those intending to marry can access resources in the form of:

• Books
• Videos
• Audio messages
• Pre-marital counselling materials

Home Visitation

The department conducts home visits to encourage and pray with couples in their homes.

The ministry records numerous testimonies of breakthroughs among the couples it has visited and supported.
