Omega Follow Up is one among the various ministry platforms of Omega Healing Centre Church mandated to consolidate and support the establishment of new believers as well as visitors that choose Omega to be their home church into the Omega family. Our Follow Up approach is bi-dimensional; focusing on both new converts and people visiting Omega Church. 

Winning people to Christ is key purpose; and building them up in Christ crowns this great commission: thus our ministry essence is making sure that new Christians understand their new relationship with God.  Omega as a fellowship and family cares and highly regards our visitors; it is the Follow Up Department’s mandate to welcome, care and get our visitors to understand Omega as a ministry and realize us as the fellowship and the family we are.

The Follow-Up ministry is guided by a number of programs and run by team of ministers who forge the Follow-Up Department with the purpose of making sure that no one ‘falls through the cracks’. We have a comprehensive program that introduces, elaborates, natures and brings to establishment our new converts as well as those who choose Omega as their new church/fellowship/family.

The  Omega  Follow-Up Program:

Our Program is very intentional (articulated to bring to achievement spiritual, emotional and physical development, progression) and interactive (practically engaging our Team and the people we minister to). 

Our Program comprises:

Welcoming and receiving Visitors, New Converts:

This encompasses receiving and hosting visitors we receive majorly in our Sunday services at Omega Church. Our Team receives these visitors upon mention and recognition, giving them the special attention and direction.

This same treatment is extended also to the new converts we may have from our services as well as from our evangelism platforms.

Information capturing and tracking:

This includes taking information and details from the new converts and the visitors, upon which we refer for further engagements and interactions.

Pastoral Audience:

The Omega Follow Up platform avails Pastoral Audience – first; to our Pastoral Department Head. We also make other Pastoral references as may be required or upon review and necessity. 

Initiation Lessons:

This forms the core of our intervention as Omega Follow Up ministry. This is the program with which we engage new believers and new members to build and consolidate them, bringing them to the understanding of their new faith and also establishment to the new family they have joined. These classes/lessons take a period of 5 months, crowned with a graduation. They comprise series of teachings that are enriched for rooting, growing and establishment.  

Care Programs:

These are majorly co-curricular to the Follow Up Program. They include interventions that are meant to improve, build and bring to progression the people God has entrusted us with; in specific reference to the needs that they present. They include Emotional Help Interventions like counselling; physical interventions like Food programs, health care among others.

Our care Program also includes Outreach in form of Home Visits: here we visit members of our classes or those who request pastoral visits; meeting and praying with their families.
