A praying ministry providing comfort, hope, encouragement and spiritual support through prayer and intercession.

Overview

Prayer is an important part of the life of Omega Healing Centre.

The Prayer and Deliverance Ministry provides a prayer chain through which people can bring their needs before God. Prayer requests may include family situations, health concerns, employment, education, personal challenges and other circumstances requiring prayer.

The ministry is made up of church members who have demonstrated love and concern for others and who are committed to standing with people in prayer.

Prayer Chain

A prayer chain is available during and after church hours to provide comfort, hope and encouragement.

Confidentiality is an important part of the ministry. Those requesting prayer are asked whether their request may be shared with church staff and the prayer chain. Where permission is not given, the request remains private.

Where possible, prayer requests are followed up through a call back.

Intercession

Beyond personal prayer requests, members of the Prayer Ministry gather Monday to Friday from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM to intercede for the Body of Christ and the nation.

The prayer team has approximately 50 intercessors who meet to pray for the church and its ministry.

Prayer Walks

The ministry conducts prayer walks every quarter in key areas within the community and the city of Kampala.
